Step 1:

X-ray / Radiograph Review (if applicable)

Prior to the session, we kindly request that the client provides their spine X-ray, which allows us to conduct three-dimensional measurements:

  • Measurement of the degree of curvature (Cobb Angle)

  • Identification of curve pattern and location

  • Assessment of vertebral rotation

  • Evaluation of pelvic obliquity and alignment

(Note: Although an X-ray is not mandatory for our session, it is highly recommended, as it significantly improves the accuracy of our measurements.)

Step 2:

Posture & Spinal Assessment

A baseline visual and mechanical posture assessment is performed to determine the position and extent of rotational asymmetry and spinal curvature.

Movement tests, along with a scoliometer, will be utilized to:

  • Measure the Angle of Trunk Rotation (ATR)

  • Identify the primary curve(s)

  • Determine the weight-bearing leg

Step 3:

Custom Wedging for Alignment Correction

Corrective wedges are used to realign your spine and maintain optimal alignment while you move. These wedges assist in:

  • De-rotating the spine and guiding it a neutral position

  • Opening compressed areas and elongating the shorter side of the torso

Additionally, 3D de-rotation and directional breathing techniques are utilized to enhance ribcage alignment.
